All you need to do is put the roast in the bottom of the slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper well. Next place a stick of butter on top, place the lid on and let it slowly cook all day.

Easy Crockpot Beef Roast
- 3-4 lb beef roast trimmed
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper to season
- Place roast in crockpot.
- Season well with salt and pepper.
- Place butter on top of roast.
- Cover with lid and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- remove roast from slow cooker and shred.
- Serve and enjoy!
