DIY Mini Teacher Survival Kit

I love this DIY Mini Teacher Survival Kit.  While most of us are busy getting our kids ready to head back to school, I know teachers are also busy getting their classrooms ready for the big first day of school.  Be sure to show your gratitude (and maybe sympathy!) this year as your kiddos head back for another great year!  This quick and easy teacher survival kit will hopefully help out in a pinch this school year!

The possibilities are endless when it comes to ideas to fill the survival kit.  Keep in mind items that you may keep in your purse or car that would be a good addition to this kit.  As a bonus, you could stock your survival kits with items from the dollar store or from the travel size items at your favorite store!  Think about items from your stockpile!

Bonus Tip:  Tin containers left over from holiday cookies or treats also make excellent containers.  Cover with pretty scrap paper or spray paint the tins in fun colors.  Just be sure to let the spray paint dry thoroughly and set outside to dry and cure before placing items inside.

DIY Mini Teacher Survival Kit:

Supplies:

• Container (the tin container shown is from Ikea, a smaller container was also included!)
• Chalkboard spray paint
• Chalk pen or chalk
• Travel sized toiletry items, gum, floss, individual instant coffee packets, gift cards, etc.

Step 1:  Gather your supplies and begin placing them in your container.  Make sure the lid will still close.

Step 2:  Spray paint the lid with chalkboard spray paint and let dry overnight

Step 3: Personalize the lid of your container

Step 4: Make sure to send a note of thanks and good wishes to the teacher inside!
