Disney World With Toddlers - Animal Kingdom

Disney World with Toddlers – Animal Kingdom. We got up really early to go to the Animal Kingdom!  This is one rope drop we wanted to make sure we got to!  The kids had a ball watching Mickey and Minnie come in on the jeep!  A tip:  when you go in for rope drop walk to the far-left side.  People tend to go to the right first even if they are headed to the same attractions, you are!  We always head to the Kilimanjaro Safaris® first because the line gets so long during the day!

If your children are scared of dark places and things jumping out of the dark at you, SKIP DINOSAUR!!  It scared my 4 year old to death!  He cried for 30 minutes after we got off and he is a tough kid!  I thought since he watches some Dino stuff at home and watches animals eat animals on the Discovery Channel he would be OK!  I WAS WRONG!!!!  It was horrible and I felt awful!

Tips:  If your children are not great at drinking water, pack Kool-Aid singles or Crystal Light!  It is great to add to your water bottles!  Limit your bags!  they check every single bag that goes into the park.  Limit zippers and pockets because they will check every one  Have them open when you get to the gate!

That day we ate at The Rainforest Cafe!  The kids really enjoyed it!  It is not my favorite place but the kids had fun!

That night we ate at T-REX.  If your kids like Dinosaurs they will love this place!  The service was awesome and the environment was so much fun!!!!
