Crockpot Applesauce Pork Chops is such an easy dinner recipe with only 3 ingredients! Yes, all you need is three simple ingredients to make this delicious pork chop recipe. Plus, this recipe is so versatile you can adapt it to your family’s taste. All you need for this basic, yet tasty recipe, is pork chops (boneless or bone-in), applesauce and minced onion.  Feel free to add other spices if you desire but I like to keep my recipes simple.

Lightly spray your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray or use a crockpot liner. Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker. Place the lid on top and cook on low 8 hours.  It is so simple to prepare.  Even my husband can do it.

You can easily turn this into a freezer meal.  Simply combine the ingredients into a gallon size freezer bag and freeze.  When you  are ready to cook simply thaw in the fridge overnight.  In the morning pour the contents of the bag into a slow cooker and cover.  Cook on low for 8 hours and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 4-6 pork chops boneless or bone-in (I used boneless)
  • 2 cups applesauce homemade or jar
  • 1 Tbsp minced onion optional

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in crockpot.
  • Place lid on and cook on low 8 hours.
  • Serve and enjoy!
