Can you freeze green beans? Yes, you can! Read these tips!

Can you freeze green beans? Yes, you can!  This is one of my favorite tips for summer!  I love purchasing green beans in the summer and putting them up for the winter.

Can you freeze green beans?

To Freeze Green Beans – Wash and then trim the tops and tails.  Boil for 2-3 minutes, timing from when vegetables enter the water. Plunge into an ice bath, drain and freeze in heavy duty plastic freezer bags or food saver bag. You can steam or use in soups.

I love to use the food saver steamer bags.  It is a great time saver.
