Brummel & Brown Spread

Have you ever tried Brummel & Brown spread before?  I have often seen it in the dairy case in the stores but had never put it into my cart before. Over the past several months I have been making several lifestyle changes for Peyton.  Our number one concern was reducing cholesterol from his diet.  Trying to make some subtle changes in his diet without raising any major red flags to him.  One great way is by changing the butter or spread that you use.

Brummel & Brown Spread:

Brummel & Brown spread contains 50% less fat and calories than butter and there’s no cholesterol per serving.  It actually contains yogurt in the spread!  Brummel & Brown is made with nonfat yogurt, which gives it a smooth, creamy taste. Of course, when you make a change in your house you never know if it will be as well received as you hope it will be.

My family enjoyed the Brummel & Brown spread on biscuits and had NO idea it wasn’t their traditional spread.  My husband commented that he really liked the flavor and texture.  He kept saying, “it is really creamy”.  I have also been using it in baking and in the morning when I prepare scrambled eggs.   Brummel & Brown is available for purchase at BJ’s and Target.  Brummel & Brown has 0 grams trans-fat per serving and no partially hydrogenated oils.  I love that!

The reason I like Brummel & Brown is that it has less fat than traditional butter and it has no cholesterol.  If you are looking for a way to reduce the cholesterol from you diet this is a great resource for you and with just a simply swap you can make a difference in your family’s heart health.  It is great on biscuits or toast. It makes a delicious cinnamon sugar toast too!  I have used it in baking and found no issue with texture of my baked products.  At the end of the day this product swap turned out to be really well received at my house.  No one has had a single complaint and I am able to provide a lower cholesterol option for my son.
