I love Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant Chicken Salad. After a recent visit to the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant in Pigeon Forge, TN I decided to make some of their delicious chicken salad at home. It is so yummy!  I love the grapes!   It makes a great summer salad with crackers on the side! It is a great lunch idea. You can serve it as a sandwich too.

I’ve not yet had the pleasure of going to “Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant”, but I make my chicken (and turkey) salads much the same way. I do however, add in a tiny bit of finely diced onion (or shallot), since it ‘ups’ the flavor. I only gave this recipe 4 stars, because I feel that some onion would make this chicken salad much more flavorful. Also, please use REAL Mayo, not that ‘salad dressing’ in a jar.
