ALPO® Wet Dog Food Review. We were recently asked to review ALPO’s® wet dog food. I have given Rocky wet dog food only once before and he loved it, but I wasn’t sure how he would like the ALPO® brand. I decided to video his response. ALPO® wet dog food definitely brought excitement to Rocky’s mealtime. He was so excited! He kept circling around when he saw the can which we thought was hilarious and then he immediately started gobbling up the canned food. It brings peace of the mind to their owners by delivering great taste, nutrition and variety.

I liked that there was actual piece of whole potatoes in the meat, and he really loved the gravy. He kept licking his mouth and trying to gobble the whole bowl. I removed it after 1/2 the can was eaten and saved the rest of the food for later which was the recommendation on the can.
I purchased the ALPO® Chop House Chucks in gravy and or ALPO® Homestyle Prime cuts gravy cravers. Rocky had tried a consistency of the Chop House before so I was personally curious to see how he would like the dog to try ALPO’s® wet dog food line. ALPO® Homestyle Prime cuts gravy cravers.
As you can see by the pictures and video he really “dug” in. He found the ALPO® Homestyle Prime cuts gravy cravers lip smacking good!

I was looking at your boards and saw that you have a board specifically focused on dogs. I have 2 mini Schnauzers and my Bella has allergies and skin problems. She has to have allergy shots because her ear always gets infected. I clean her ears with a cotton ball and vinegar which does help but thought I would take her off of her dog food that contains grain and switched her to a grain free food which has helped some. My question is do you have a preference for an inexpensive grain free dog food? I currently have her on Pure Balance dry and moist food. I also put Coconut Oil as well as Fish Oil in her moist food everyday. The food recommended by my vet is outrageously expensive so I am looking for a cheaper alternative. Any suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated. If you do not have any suggestions but know of someone I can contact it would be wonderful. Have you considered Castor & Pollux Organix Adult Dry Dog Food or Rachael Ray Nutrish? I use coconut oil with both of my dogs and it really helps with itchy skin and soft coats.
