50th Birthday Party Ideas
Check out these 50th Birthday Party Ideas. One of my dearest friends turned 50 this year and we wanted to celebrate her milestone birthday. Of course, with Covid and limitations with time and travel we decided to have in intimate birthday celebration with her closest friends. We actually had a Pajama Party! It was so much fun and exactly what we all needed.
A great location to host a pajama birthday party is at a local Airbnb. This is a great location because you don’t have to worry with husbands, children and pets! You can just relax and unwind and don’t have to do any housework to prepare.
We decided to do all appetizers because this is the birthday girl’s favorite! We each made our specialty. We had a charcuterie board, spinach dip, Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip and 3 Ingredient Slow Cooker Cocktail Wieners.
The birthday girl doesn’t like cake, so we had a homemade derby pie, custom cookies and Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookie Dough Dip.
No 50th Birthday is complete without loads of decorations and some wine. I picked up a variety at the local winery and we enjoyed a tasting. One of our friends made custom wine glasses for the celebration.
Our color scheme was pink, gold, black and white. I purchased most of the decorations at the Dollar General and my friend ordered some of the items and custom wine labels from Etsy. We also made a play list with favorites songs from the 90’s.
At the end of the night, we were all in our PJ’s and enjoyed an old-fashioned sleepover. It is such a good time and the perfect way to celebrate a special 50th birthday.
