10 Great Uses For Milkman Powdered Milk

Use In Holiday Baking: Substitute equal parts reconstituted Milkman powdered milk anywhere milk is called for in a recipe. This product is great to use while baking at a much lower cost with the same flavor. Also low in fat!
Homemade Sweetened Condensed Milk: Combine 1 tablespoon butter, 1/2 cup hot water, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add 1 cup Milkman dry milk and 3/4 cup sugar and stir until dissolved and combined well. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator until use.
Use In Place Of Coffee Creamer: Reconstitute or simply add dry powder to your coffee along with sugar and any other flavorings for a great coffee treat.
Homemade Hot Cocoa Recipe: Mix together 2 cups Milkman powdered milk, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa and 1 teaspoon salt. Stir 2 heaping tablespoons into an 8-10 oz cup of hot water for a great rich and tasty winter evening treat.
Mix Half & Half With Regular Milk To Save Money: Mix equal parts regular milk with reconstituted Milkman powdered milk to help stretch your dollar a bit farther each month. Keep it chilled nicely and nobody will know the difference!
Lower Fat Alternative: Milkman is a low-fat, nutritious, protein packed alternative to traditional milk that has a natural flavor. You can substitute it easily in your recipes and coffee.

Ingredients: 100% real milk, cream
Directions:
1. Pour contents of one envelope into approximately 1/2 quart of water stirring continuously with a spoon.
2. Add water to make one quart. Chill and serve ice cold.
When traveling one tip that I got from a friend is to mix it in a ball canning jar. She said to add 6 or 8 large ice cubes, water and powdered milk and shake until the ice is gone. She said that it takes her about 5 minutes but that it works really well when camping or outdoors.

How long will Milkman last after mixing with water?
Love this site just wish homeless shelters didn’t make you throw away your tiny little packets of powered milk we get from loaves and fishes food pantry we get silver cellophane ones but they are so handy when trying to have iced coffee etc
