Pumpkin Pound Cake
Pumpkin Pound Cake is perfect for Autumn. This pound cake is great to make and give to someone as gift or treat. Be warned that it will make your home smell amazing while it is baking!
I couldn’t wait for this delicious pumpkin pound cake to come out of the oven. I did spread some cream cheese on my slice while I enjoyed it. I also indulged and had a Pumpkin Latte.
With ingredients you most likely have in your pantry you can make this delicious treat that is perfect for fall. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Combine the dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin, beating just until combined. Pour into two greased and floured 9-in. x 5-in. loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 65-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing form pans to wire racks to cool completely.
I would suggest doubling or tripling this recipe because it is so good and perfect for gift giving. You can also freeze this recipe. Simply thaw the night before by placing it on your counter. It would be the perfect dessert for Thanksgiving or a fall tea. We hope you enjoy Pumpkin Pound Cake.
