Can you freeze melon?  Yes, you can!  It is easy to do.  I would suggest it most though for using in recipes that call for frozen melon like smoothies or cold recipes.

To Freeze cantaloupe or melon simply chop into large pieces and freeze in a heavy-duty plastic freezer bag. After thawing it will not be in the original crisp form so using in another form is best. I have done this often for melon that I use in my green smoothies. If you find melon on manager’s special this is a nice tip to stretch your budget.
