How To Make Valentine’s Day Marble Cupcakes
If you have never made your own marble cupcakes this will be a fun activity with your kids. You want to learn How to Make Valentine’s Day Marble Cupcakes? Simply take a yellow cake mix and prepare according to the box. In a separate small bowl, remove 1-2 cups of batter. Add a package of Kool-Aid powdered drink mix and stir to get the new color. You can also add a few drops of red (or whatever color you want) food coloring to get the desired color. You can purchase natural food colors or use fruit juice if you are concerned with using dye.
Fill your muffin tin 1/2 full of your yellow cake mix and then add 1 spoonful of red batter to the middle of each muffin cup.
Using a butter knife swirl the red batter to make a marbled look. Be sure that you don’t over-swirl to prevent over mixing. Then bake as the package suggests and ice with frosting. I like to use my own Homemade Whipped Cream Cheese Icing They are also pretty to leave unfrosted too! You can make this gluten free by using a gluten free cake mix.
