Homemade Cinnamon Ornament
This Homemade Cinnamon Ornament are so simple and easy to make. It’s a great craft to do with the kids on their Christmas break from school. I love to hang these on the Christmas tree and attach to gifts, but I also like to hang them in the bathroom and hallways because they put off a lovely cinnamon scent.
They also make great gifts. My kids really enjoyed making them and the grandparents enjoyed receiving them. Be sure to give this easy craft idea a try. They are the perfect addition to packages too!
These Homemade Cinnamon Christmas Ornaments smell amazing. I like to buy my cinnamon at the Dollar Tree or in bulk at a warehouse store like COSTCO or Sam’s Club to save money. You can purchase your applesauce there too. You can make in any shape you desire, add a ribbon and wrap in tissue to give.

One year many many moons ago, as I was attempting to make these ornaments with two of my children (ages 11 & 12), I used a bit too much apple sauce and had no more cinnamon to add to thicken it. What a mess, but while playing around with it , we discovered that by squeezing it between our hands and plopping it down, we could make these lovely little…um, mounds. So, we made a bunch of … piles, let them dry, then called them reindeer poop! We arranged some under our tree and even gave them out to lucky recipients as gifts! That was a great Christmas!!!
