Review of Hershey Lodge Hershey PA
Check out this Review of Hershey Lodge Hershey PA! We are home from the trip of a lifetime, if you are a chocolate fanatic that is 🙂 I have three MAJOR chocoholics in my family. Both my husband and my son LOVE chocolate. I have never met anyone that loves chocolate as much as they do….except for my niece! We just recently traveled to Hershey, PA where we had the time of our life and our only regret is that we didn’t stay long enough!
If you have never been to Hershey, PA you are truly missing out. I really had no idea what to expect but I have heard from friends and family that Hershey is a great family destination. It was on my bucket list to visit Hershey Park and stay at the Hershey Lodge. I am so happy that we were able to visit this summer.
We stayed on Hershey property which I would suggest if your budget allows. Hershey has three properties. They have the Hershey Hotel, the Hershey Lodge and the Hershey Campground. When you stay on a Hershey property you get the Hershey Resorts Advantage. This includes early access to the park, transportation to the park and other attractions and much more! I really thought that the Lodge was reasonably priced when factoring in the Hershey Resorts Advantage and all of the amenities. In fact right now they have a Kids Stay, Play & Eat Free package available through July, where kids 17 and under receive FREE breakfast and FREE admission to Hersheypark! Always check online for deals and special offers.

The Lodge plans a variety of children’s activities each day. The highlight for my kids was the Kids Check in. We really loved the special treatment that they got when they signed the guest book. They were given a name badge and then they played a game – guess how many kisses were in the jar. They were also huge fans of the pool. In fact it was really refreshing after a long day at the park. The pool provides towels which is a really nice feature and there was a nice play area near the pool too for little ones. My son really enjoyed the miniature golf too.
I personally loved the convenience. It was nice to be able to arrive and then park our car and not leave the property again until check out. We took the complementary shuttle service to the park each day. In addition we were able to eat at the Lodge for our evening meals and we ate at the park for lunch. We of course packed our own breakfast and snacks to save money.
Our room was spacious and very clean, which is really important to me. We had plenty of room for our luggage and snacks. I liked that we had a mini refrigerator! In addition they provided a coffee pot and two bottles of water each day. My favorite luxury was the Hershey Lodge Shampoo, Conditioner and Lotion. It smells like chocolate! It was amazing. I would suggest staying in the main building if possible just for convenience. This is where we stayed and really enjoyed our accommodations. When you make your reservation you can specify a request.
I really don’t have any complaints about the Lodge. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough. In addition to Hershey Park there are the Hershey Gardens, Chocolate World, ZooAmerica (included in your Park admission) and The Hershey Story. I would suggest at least two full days for the Park. Here is my full review of Hershey Park.
Guests of The Official Resorts of Hersheypark can also take part in the Hershey Resorts Advantage, offering early access to select rides and attractions, complimentary shuttle service and more. We loved our stay at Hershey Lodge. It truly was a chocoholics dream come true
