How to repel hornworms

If you are a gardener like I am there is a chance that you may run into horn worms on occasion.  We did and we had no idea how to get rid of them.  Luckily my neighbors did, and they shared with us this simple DIY for how to repel horn worms from your garden.  It worked like a charm too!

Garden Tip – How to repel horn worms

To repel horn worms, mix 1 cup crushed calendula leaves and flowers (Marigolds) with 2 cups water.  Steep for 24 hours and strain.  Add 1 1/2 quarts water and 1/4 tsp. dish soap to a spray bottle and spray on your plants.

You can read this post on harvesting and drying calendula leaves and flowers.
