DIY Vintage Postcards Garland
I love this DIY Vintage Postcards Garland. With just a few supplies you can make this Vintage Postcards garland in just 5 minutes. It is a quick do it yourself décor idea and can make a lovely decoration for your home or gift idea.
I love how simple it is and that it only costs you a few pennies! You might be able to pick up vintage postcards at thrift stores or garage sales for pennies. You might even run across a bundle when you are cleaning out an estate for free.
DIY Vintage Postcards Garland:
Supplies:
- vintage postcards – I like the ones with writing, something about the penmanship of the day makes me very happy
- baker’s twine or ribbon
- metal brads
- scissors
- small scrap-booking hole punch
I got these postcards at the Antique Mall on Mall Road, Florence, KY. There are tons of vendors there with postcards, and cheap too! They can often be picked up at any antique store or mall or even online at Etsy.

Where can you buy those vintage postcards?
I have found them at thrift stores and antique stores. You can also “tea stain” new postcards to make them look vintage 🙂
