Disney World Hollywood Studios Jedi Training

I must start this post by saying if you have a young one who loves Star Wars then you must do Disney World Hollywood Studios Jedi Training!  My boys had so much fun.

The Jedi Training is for children 4-12 years old and it is completely free, you just have to sign up the children.  The sign ups do fill up quickly as they can only allot so many children to each time slot.  We arrived at the parks around 11 am and were able to wait in line and get a time slot for the last time slot at 7:30 pm. There was a few slots in early times available, but this was on our first day that we arrived to Disney and were waiting for our room to be ready.  We knew we were going to take a break to head back and get everything into the room and unpack.

My sons Maximus and Luke are huge Star Wars fans so we knew they would love this.  I am so glad we took the time to have this adventure with them because they are still talking about it and can not wait to go back and do it again. Once you arrive for your time slot. the cast members fit your child with a robe and place them in lines by their height.  If you have multiple children they will make sure they are in the same line.  Cast members then walk them through Hollywood Studios to an open area stage.

They go on stage and each child gets a light saber and they are taught different moves to do with their light saber.  Then to the children’s surprise Darth Vader appears and each child gets to fight him.  How cool is that!!! I was super excited for my children, because I knew they would love that.  Then after using the force they got Darth Vader to disappear, but then Kylo Ren appears (which is my son Luke’s favorite).

The boys enjoyed this interactive Jedi Training so much.  And my husband and I had so much fun watching them.  My oldest who could not participate enjoyed it so much he went off with out us knowing and bought his brothers and himself light sabers to play with.  He melts my heart as a mom!

So in my opinion please make sure you add this to your list of must do if going to Disney World Hollywood Studios.  You and your children will enjoy it so much! A memory to last a lifetime.
