Crockpot Pineapple Ham
Crockpot Pineapple Ham is the most delicious ham in my opinion! I love that I can make it in my slow cooker with very few ingredients. When the holidays approach I do not get anxious over what I am going to serve because this ham is perfect for Christmas dinner.
In our family the tradition is to have ham for Christmas dinner with all the trimmings of Green Bean Casserole, Crockpot Hash Brown Casserole and of course Sweet Potato Casserole. Since I usually host Christmas, it makes it a whole lot easier when I can make all of these dishes in slow cookers.
For this recipe of Crockpot Pineapple Ham all you need is a ham (big enough for your slow cooker), can of pineapple, brown sugar and ground cloves. That is, it! But trust me you will be pleased with the results. It took less than 5 minutes to prepare everything and put in the crockpot. You cannot get any simpler and be sure to make this for the holidays, you will not be disappointed! I love to serve this for Easter and Christmas dinner.
Simply sprinkle 1 cup of the brown sugar on the bottom of your slow cooker. Place ham in crockpot. Open the pineapple can and drain juice into container. Sprinkle the pineapple tidbits over ham.
Add brown sugar and cloves to pineapple juice and whisk together. Pour juice mixture over ham. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours. Remove ham and let cool 5 minutes before slicing.
