Can you freeze chicken broth?
Yes, you can! Check out this tip and way to save money! You can freeze it directly in the original package if near expiration and you haven’t opened the package. If you have an entire can or carton that is nearing expiration, I like to pour it into a freezer safe container and lie it flat in my freezer to save room.
Another great tip is to pour your extra broth into ice cube trays and freeze it! The next time you need it just pop out however many cubes you need! This is a great tip for leftover broth. I always have leftover broth at the holidays and this way I never waste it. After frozen just place in a freezer safe container and date. You can keep it for an additional 6 months frozen. This is a great way to save money!
