Can you freeze avocado? Yes, you can! I do all of the time. Just peel (see this post on how to peel an avocado and quarter your avocado or cut in half and place into a freezer safe container. By freezing you can extend the life by 4 to 6 months. Just write the date you put it into the freezer with a permanent marker, so you know how long it has been there. I love freezing avocado and then using it in my green smoothies.
