Why you MUST go to Be Our Guest Dining at Disney World. This is a restaurant that is hard to reserve, but if you get the chance to eat here it is so worth it! When using the Disney dining plan it is a Quick Service credit (fast-casual) for breakfast and lunch, then Table Service credit (sit down) for dinner.
Breakfast and lunch are unique at Be Our Guest Restaurant in that guests can make Advanced Dining Reservations for this Counter Service experience. This is a game changer if you want to experience Be Our Guest but don’t want to use a Table Service credit.
Why You MUST go to Be Our Guest Dining at Disney World:
Which is what we did for breakfast, so that we would be in the park before it opened. We made our reservation for 8:00 am and the park opened at 9:00 am that day. It is truly and EPIC experience to have your photo taken in front of the castle with NO ONE else! When walking (ok, jogging) into the park I was able to take this photo and literally was mesmerized by the castle. Rain or shine it didn’t matter because we were one of the first in the park and enjoyed every single minute of it.
For breakfast and lunch, guests can pre-order their meals using “My Disney Experience” within 30 days of their dining date up to the moment before they check in which saves you time! After pre-ordering you can walk right up to the hostess and be seated while others are ordering at the kiosks.
You can even pre-order for special dietary requests. For those who choose not to pre-order their food, touch-screen, automated terminals are available for guests to customize their orders. Cashiers will also be available when you to process your credit card or you can pay cash before being seated.
Once the order is placed (if you didn’t pre-order), you’ll find a place to sit down on your own and your order will be delivered to you. How they find you and then deliver your food is magical to say the least.
You can choose from three different seating areas – The Grand Ballroom (gorgeous and more well lit), The West Wing (a little on the dark side and where the rose is) and The Castle Gallery (mainly open for group meals but you can go in and take pictures). All of the areas are absolutely gorgeous and themed to the movie. In the West Wing we were able to snag a table right next to the The Enchanted Rose.
The food for breakfast was delicious. My husband had the Croissant Doughnut and he highly recommend getting it. Every table gets a huge platter of pastries with their food as well. My son enjoyed the Feast á la Gaston which includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and roasted potatoes served with fresh fruit. He thought it was delicious.
We absolutely LOVED this dining option and would go again and and again. Regardless if you are on the Disney Dining plan or not it is worth the expense. A great tip is that you do not have to order a meal for every person. You can easily SHARE your meals here!
The kids really enjoyed it, but if you have young children you might want to avoid sitting in The West Wing as it is a little dark. We will be dining at Be Our Guest again. We might try lunch or dinner but getting into the park early is always my favorite!
Best of ALL you can exit the restaurant and go straight to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and get in line to ride it! It is a great jump start to your day and allows you to skip using a fast pass for this attraction.
