Baked Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken
Baked Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken has become one of my favorite baked chicken recipes! I can’t believe how simple this recipe is and that you only need 4 ingredients.
I was able to have this chicken ready and on the table for dinner in 30 minutes. I don’t know about you, but I love recipes like this! They come in handy, especially on busy nights with my family.
For this recipe, I use chicken breasts that I cut into tender pieces. It helps doing this to cut down on cooking time and makes it easier to serve to my boys. For this Baked Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken recipe, start by putting your chicken in a foil lined baking dish (makes for easy clean up with all the sticky mess from the brown sugar) and season with salt and pepper. Next, sauté the garlic in olive oil over medium heat in a small skillet. Once that is done, add in the brown sugar. Spoon over the chicken and place in the oven. While the chicken is cooking cook your sides. I made rice to serve with our chicken.
Once the Baked Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken is done, spoon some of the juice on top before serving. This recipe will be on my menu in the future!
To make as a Freezer Meal – prepare the topping (garlic sauté). Place chicken in a foil lined baking dish and add topping. Place foil on top and write directions – Bake for 25 minutes on 400 degrees. This will last in your freezer for 3 months.

For a freezer meal, would it need to be thawed before baking?
Yes, I like to thaw overnight in the fridge.
I don’t have any olive oil. Can I substitute butter instead?
Yes you can! I also use avocado oil.
