Soda Cake

Soda Cake is easy to make and tastes delicious!

Soda Cake is the easiest cake you will probably ever make.  All you need is 2 ingredients! Yes, only two ingredients that you probably have in your kitchen right now as you read this. A box of cake mix and a can of soda! It is as simple as mixing them together and pouring into a pan and putting it in the oven to bake.

This is the recipe I turn too when I have unexpected company, or my kids need something baked for school or an event. This cake is also very good for you compared to the traditional method of adding oil and eggs.  You can always try using different sodas with different cake mixes to find the one you like the best. One of my favorites is white cake mix with Sunkist orange soda.

I just wanted to tell you I made this tonight with a yellow cake mix and Dr Pepper 10 🙂 Then poured chocolate frosting on. It was delicious! And I was able to lick the spoon cause there were no eggs lol

My Aunt used to make a cherry coke and devils food cake version and it was so moist! I bet I can try this with a gluten free cake mix!

  3. Dude, that’s at least 36 ingredients, not including the frosting. Try some wacky cake – flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, vinegar, vanilla, oil, and water.
