Snow Day Superstitions
Do you love Snow Days? We do! I taught high school for 11 years and I loved them as much then as I do now. In case you didn’t know these Snow Day Superstitions, I wanted to share a few with you.
We hope these Snow Day Superstitions work for you when you need them 🙂
Snow Day Superstitions:
1: Turn your pajamas inside out and wear them to sleep.
2: Place an ice cube in the toilet and flush it (one for each inch of snow you want).
3: Sleep with a spoon under your pillow.
4. Eat ice cream for dinner.
5. Do a snow dance on your front yard (while wearing your PJ’s inside out).
6. Go to the freezer and open the door and dance singing SNOW DAY, SNOW DAY, SNOW DAY!
7. Put a spoon or a white crayon in the freezer. (or both)
Hope these work for you! Regardless they are a lot of fun and treasured memories for your kids. Do you have a Snow Day Superstition that you believe in?

OMG! My 13 year old just opened the freezer and sang, “Snow day….” lol
Love it!
Okay, Melissa – my question is how you get your toilet bowl to sparkle like that?!? I mean, I scrub and use toilet cleaner, but there is a rusty stain on the very top underside of the bowl. Do you have a secret product that you use???
Beth, you can use a commercial stain remover product designed for toilet bowl’s, that will take away the rust stain, or you can use a pumice stone & gently “erase” it. Pumice stone, (the same thing you use to remove dead skin/calloused skin from the feet), usually works. The rust stains are usually caused by iron or other minerals in the water, (calcium, lime, etc.), sometimes referred to as “hard water stains”. It worked for me, good luck!
I do have a secret – I use this homemade toilet bowl cleaner – https://www.stockpilingmoms.com/2013/02/homemade-toilet-bowl-cleaner/
I also use this method in between cleanings – I just drop one in daily or every other day – https://www.stockpilingmoms.com/2013/01/how-to-clean-a-toilet-with-denture-cleanser-tablets/
That worked for me when I taught..for the school teachers toilet. They didn’t allow harsh cleansers anymore..too many chemicals. So I would drop a denture tablet in before I left ..only took a few days to clean it..
MY 5YR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER & ME GONNA DO SOME OF THESE & YEA SHE WILL LOVE IT..I CAN SEE HER LAUGHING NOW! THANK YOU!
Enjoy 🙂
My 7 year old son just tried some of these

You can also put a white crayon in the freezer instead of the spoon.
