  1. I am not a good cook so please help me out. When I remove the cake from the crockpot. Do I flip it over on its top to the dish, thus having the cakey part on the top? Thanks.

      1. Cooked it on low for 2.5 hours and all of t did was melt the chocolate chips. The cake was lukewarm. Ended up switching off crockpot mode and switch it to dessert mode on instant pot pressure mode for 25 min

  2. I’m making this now…do you have to eat immediately after cooking 2 and 1/2 hrs or can we wait until after dinner. How long can it sit in the cock pot? Heat on or off. Tks Melissa. Happy Holidays

    1. Heat off for sure. I always time it to have it done at the end of dinner. You don’t want it to overcook.

  3. Can I prep everything in the crockpot in the morning and then put it in the fridge until I’m ready to cook it that afternoon?

    1. You will need to allow your crockpot insert to come to room temperature before turning it on. Otherwise it can crack.

Omg! I made this and it is delicious! I ate half of it in less than two days! Not too sweet like other recipes I have tried! So moist! It’s just as good when you store in the fridge and reheat!

  5. Anybody tried this in a casserole shaped crockpot? I’m thinking to double the recipe and do it in that crockpot but not sure how long to cook it for..
