When it comes to after-school snacks our go to is Smucker’s Peanut Butter and Jelly. Sometimes I like to shake it up a bit though and these Peanut Butter and Jelly Sushi Rolls are the perfect way to do that!
When I made these for Peyton as a bedtime snack he was so excited! They were so easy to make and the combination of the protein filled Jif Peanut Butter and the Smucker’s Simply Fruit were the perfect combination for this snack! I served it with a glass of milk and he was not only happy but also it filled him up after soccer practice and before bed to ensure that he slept well for a great night.
As you can see the Peanut Butter and Jelly Sushi Rolls are easy to make. Simply flatten your bread (I used Oatmeal) and cut off the crusts. Spread your peanut butter and jelly of choice and the roll up. I cut each roll in half to make two “sushi” rolls per slice of bread. Best of all you control what type of bread you use for this wholesome snack.
This is a fun memory that I am able to create with Peyton simply by changing the format that the PBJ comes in. Now he often asks for Sushi Sandwiches which makes me happy! It is a memory that we will remember forever and that he can pass down to his children one day.

A very fun way for pb and j to be in a lunchbox
looks quick and easy!!
That is the only kind of sushi that I will ever eat. PB&J is the best combination out there, with the possible exception of peanut butter and chocolate.
