How can you get free Toilet Paper?
I think the number one question that I get at classes is “How can I get free toilet paper“? Because of the show Extreme Couponing and stockpile that many of the couponers had it is perceived that it is “easy” to get free paper products.
How can you get free Toilet Paper?
In the past it was easy to get it. However shortly after I started stockpiling in early 2009 the free toilet paper train ended.
There used to be a coupon that easily matched up and resulted in free or very cheap TP. There was also a coupon that was available in some areas for a free roll of Marcal toilet tissue or paper towels. However, we are just not seeing FREE toilet paper and paper towels like we used too.
I think that this has to be the number one question we get because if you are like me, you hate paying for anything that “goes down the drain”. However, it is something that is a necessity in life. So, can you get free Toilet Paper? I am going to say most likely NO.
However, what you can do is matchup your available coupons to sales cycles and pay the least possible out of pocket. It really depends on if you are brand loyal or not. If you are NOT brand loyal then you can often get a roll or two or 12 of free or near free toilet paper however it is not often that you can stockpile like it was possible in the past.
For example, starting on 10/7/11 at Walgreen’s you can score a 12 pack for near free Cottonelle.

The best I’ve ever done is a $1 off coupon for Marcal, which I was able to buy at my commissary for $3.99 with the final cost of $2.99 for 12 double rolls.

Don’t forget to use programs like shespeaks.com. They send you products and you review them…this week I got a 4 pack of Angel Soft and 10 $2 off coupons with it! It does exist, just not as easy to find as before 🙂
Yep, it does exist but I think the myth that it is easy to get needs to be addressed 😉
Sometmes, P&G will put nice sized, hi value coupons in their larger packs of Charmin. So I wait until that goes on sale, use my coupons and get $10 – $20 in coupons on other stuff I use. So, to me, it’s like getting it for free.
I just typically end up getting the humongous Member’s Mark toilet paper at Sam’s Club. It’s very comfy TP & it’s priced pretty dadgum good, without coupons or drugstore game worries.
I printed the $3 coupon and used it at Meijer in Florence. I think it’s the same link.
Went to Walgreens in Dayton. No $3 RR for me! Bummer!
On other sites I have been on it says the RR is only on the purple pack

The best way to get free toilet paper is when you get walgreen’s RR’s
for example they recently had triamnic cold med 2 for 10 i had two three dollar coupons that made them 4.oo then they gave you a 500 reward so i made a 1.00 paid 2.oo a piece for the meds and they had charmin on sale for 2.99 for a 8 pkg and i had a coupon for 1.oo off two so i grabbed two for 5.00
I use to 24 pk of angel soft ( on sale) @ smart & final but its been awhile sine they have had for that price 🙁
