Homemade Popcorn

I LOVE homemade popcorn! It is one of my favorite snacks. However I do not like microwavable popcorn I prefer to make it with my Hot Air Popcorn Popper.

How to make Homemade Popcorn! It is a healthy snack and perfect for movie night!

Many years ago I received my Hot Air Popcorn Popper as a Christmas gift and it has been the best gift ever! I now give it as a gift too. They are usually around $20 at Kohl’s. I wait until I have a coupon and then stock up on a few.

Then when giving as a gift I always make sure to include a bag of popcorn kernels, popcorn butter oil and popcorn salt. It’s also great if you want to throw in a movie with it! My family loves to help fill the machine and watch the kernels pop. I also like that I can adjust how much salt and butter oil I want on it.

For my popcorn I add 2 T Popcorn oil (that is my choice you don’t have to use oil) and 3 t of popcorn salt to a full batch of popped popcorn. Stir popcorn and make sure to coat the popcorn evenly. Then I serve and enjoy with the family!

  1. I bought a microwave popcorn popper at Target many years ago. It tastes like air popped and you don’t use any oil. You just throw 1/4 cup of kernals in the bottom and it cooks up in a couple of minutes. Then you can add as much butter and salt as you like.

Just thought I would offer another choice. My family loves it.
