Girls Trip to Disney

Shelley and I are home from a Girls Trip to Disney. This was our first time to see each other since the pandemic! We had no idea how much we missed each other until our trip. Texting and phone calls aren’t the same when it comes to friendship. If you have never been on girls’ trip, I highly encourage you to take one!

Girls Trip to Disney:

In December Shelley and I started planning this trip. With Covid we had to push the trip to the first week of May. The only thing we would change about our trip was the time of the year that we went. We would choose a cooler month in the future as the weather was extremely hot while we were at Disney World.

We spent four nights at the Disney’s Pop Century Resort. This was my first time staying at a value resort and I was a little nervous. However, I loved it! I would highly recommend this value resort conveniently located on the Skyliner. The beds were comfy and the rooms very clean. Even though I had never stayed at a value resort before, and I would definitely stay there again.

We didn’t really have a plan except for few meal reservations. That was what we loved most! No pressure and we could do whatever we wanted to. Our favorite day was Wednesday because we really just picked our starting park and then did whatever we wanted to all day long. We didn’t make a reservation until minutes before and that was fun to be so spontaneous!

We went to all of our favorite attractions, tried new Disney Dining options and had a blast. There was lots of laughter, late nights filled with conversation and so much fun! I am so thankful that Shelley is my sister friend. We left feeling refreshed and renewed in our friendship.

If you haven’t taken a Girls Trip to Disney, we highly recommend it!
