Crockpot Tavern Style Beef
Crockpot Tavern Style Beef is a delicious dinner recipe that is sure to please the meat lover in your house. My boys love meat and potatoes for dinner. So last week when I made this scrumptious Crockpot Tavern Style Beef with Mashed Potatoes they were in heaven.
They could not get enough of it. There were definitely no left over after this meal. The next time you want a great tasting beef recipe to be sure to try Crockpot Tavern Style Beef. You will not be disappointed, I promise.
This recipe uses a 1 1/2 lb. top round sirloin or chuck roast. Whenever I find these cuts of meat on sale or managers special, I use them for this easy recipe. To prepare place the meat in the slow cooker. Season the meat with salt, pepper and celery salt. Next toss the mushrooms and onion over the meat. Sprinkle parsley flakes on top. Finally pour the sauce over everything and place the lid on. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Remove and serve with juice/sauce.
You can also prepare this recipe as a freezer meal. Simply dump all of the ingredients into a gallon size freezer bag and freeze. When ready to prepare thaw in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning place the contents of the freezer bag into the slow cooker and cover. Cook on low for 8 hours.
I hope you enjoy this Crockpot Tavern Style Beef as much as my family did. It is sure to become a family favorite once you give it a try!
