Sprinkle both packets on top of roast. Place stick of butter on top. Put the lid on crock pot and cook on low 8-9 hours.

This Crockpot Mississippi Pork Roast recipe is a variation of the Slow Cooker Mississippi Roast that I previously made with a beef roast.  It is just as good with a pork roast.  My husband wants me to make it again really soon.  I am using the leftover pork this weekend to make Pulled Pork Sandwiches.  Be sure to try this easy crockpot recipe soon, you will not be disappointed!

Ingredients

  • 5-6 lb pork roast
  • 1 whole stick of butter
  • 1 package Ranch Dressing Mix (dry)
  • 1 package Brown Gravy Mix (dry)

Instructions

  • Place roast in slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle both packets on top of roast.
  • Place stick of butter on top.
  • Put lid on crockpot and cook on low 8-9 hours.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Easy Freeze Slow Cooker Directions:

Simply dump all your ingredients into a freezer bag.  Freeze.  When ready to cook thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Dump ingredients into the slow cooker and cover.  Cook on low for 8-9 hours.

  1. Can’t wait to try this recipe, just a few questions. I’ve got a small 2 pound pork roast I need to use up, other than cooking time could I use the same amount of butter/seasonings? Also, how many cups of butter is the stick you used?
