Crockpot Shredded BBQ Chicken

Crockpot Shredded BBQ Chicken is a great easy freeze recipe for a busy day.

I took our BBQ Crock pot pork recipe and turned it into Crockpot Shredded BBQ Chicken. This is a super easy recipe and a great way to stretch your dollar by shredding the chicken and serving it on a bun. I was able to turn 3 chicken breasts into enough to feed my family for 2 nights!  You can also use this recipe when you are feeding a large crowd.  The chicken goes further and tastes great on a bun.

This recipe is so easy to prepare.  Simply place your chicken breasts into the slow cooker and add your BBQ sauce.  Be sure that you cover completely.  Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook for 6-8 hours on low heat.  After the chicken is cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken and cook for an additional 1/2 hour.  I suggest that you serve with coleslaw and green beans.
You could even do use this recipe to cook a beef loin, pork loin or even turkey breast!  The sky is really the limit.  I like to serve Crockpot Shredded BBQ Chicken with Roasted Broccoli.  My family also enjoys it on a bun with baked beans and coleslaw.  Be sure to give this easy slow cooker recipe a try!  It is soon to be a family favorite.

I dont measure, i just do the taste test while making the sauce. Enjoy!

This recipe turned out really good! I used a different (locally made) BBQ Sauce. The chicken shreds easily and is delicious!
