Copycat Starbucks Peppermint Latte

I have seen MANY recipes for Copycat Starbucks Peppermint Latte floating around Pinterest. It is Christmas season! It is my favorite time of the year!

Copycat Starbucks Peppermint Latte - Easy Version!

Why? Because it is time for peppermint EVERYTHING! Best of all it is time for holiday flavored coffee! Each of the recipes that I saw required you to make a peppermint syrup base then add milk, coffee and whipped topping. I was literally craving a Peppermint Latte but didn’t want to drive to the coffeehouse when it clicked!

I made myself a cup of coffee then I added 2 TBSP of International Delight Peppermint Latte Creamer and 1/2 tsp of cocoa powder. I stirred it  really well and then I topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed peppermint. It was AMAZING! Now this is a REALLY easy way to make a copycat version of the Starbucks Peppermint Latte.

I know it technically isn’t a latte but I don’t have an espresso maker.  I can only imagine if I did that this would be even closer to the “real thing”.  However this copycat version tastes amazing and best of all by making it at home it is gluten free! I was elated with the savings that I was able to have and by not leaving my house I not only saved money but I also saved time.  I am sure you will love it too!  It would be perfect on Christmas morning or at a holiday brunch (or any day).
