The Peabody Hotel Review, Memphis, TN
I wanted to share with you you The Peabody Hotel Review – Memphis, TN. If you have never had the opportunity to see the Duck Master and the Ducks at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TN is it a must see on your travel bucket list when you visit Memphis.
The Peabody Hotel is located in n the heart of “Blues City”. It is a magnificent Forbes Four-Star, AAA Four-Diamond historic hotel.
It is located conveniently downtown just blocks from Beale Street, the Memphis Rock N Soul Museum, Gibson Guitar Factory, Fed-Ex Forum, National Civil Rights Museum, Sun Studio, Orpheum Theatre, and the Memphis Cook Convention Center and lots of places to shop and dine. It is within driving distance to Graceland.
We had the opportunity to not only see the ducks but to spend one night at The Peabody and it was amazing! The hotel is simply breathtaking. We not only watched the ducks arrive to the lobby but we also watched them depart.
This was the TRIP of a lifetime for my son. Not only did he get to visit our dear friends in Memphis he also got to see the ducks in action.
I had never had an opportunity myself to see the ducks but I can tell you I was simply amazed! They are led by the Duck Master himself who leads them in and out and he did an awesome job!
When off-duty from the Lobby, the ducks live in their Royal Duck Palace on the hotel’s rooftop. They arrive promptly at 11 am and depart at 5 pm. I would suggest arriving early to obtain a good view especially on the weekend.
It is the perfect spot to gather for a picture after the ducks march in or out. If you are in town please be sure to stop and it is a free activity too!
I loved this visit with our friends and they made sure that we saw all of the major sights in Memphis while we were in town.
I can’t fail to mention how lovely the rooms were. Our room was beyond clean and spacious! In addition I can honestly say that the bed was one of the softness and most luxurious I have every stayed in. I wanted to stay in it the next morning instead of getting up so that is always a sign of a great nights sleep.
It felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. It is worth every penny that we paid for the experience. My son still talks about the trip daily and can’t wait until we can go back to “see the ducks”.
Disclaimer: This trip was not paid for by Stockpiling Moms this was paid for by our family and though it is not a sponsored post – I would welcome the opportunity to visit and stay at the Peabody again. It was the trip of a lifetime and all opinions are 100% my own.
