DIY Petals and Pearls Tea Party

I am excited to share this DIY Party Planning Petals and Pearls Tea Party with you. If you have never hosted a tea before for your children, I highly suggest it. I have been having tea with my mom for as long as I can remember. It is a treasured memory each and every time that we enjoy having tea together.  It is one thing that I grieve most being gluten free.

DIY Petals and Pearls Tea Party:

I wanted to share with you my Petals and Pearls Tea Party Table. My table theme was “Aunt Mary’s Petals and Pearls Tea”. My theme was in memory of my Great Aunt Mary Thomas. She was a very dear Aunt to me, and I have very fond memories of her. I chose my theme because she gave me her beautiful set of China when I was a junior at Berea College. I wanted to use the China and the theme took off from there. I used roses and pearls in my table decor. I thought it turned out to be a lovely theme and tribute to my Aunt Mary.

I used an antique rose bowl as my center piece filled with white roses. The rose teapot I used was given to my mother by her good friend Lynn. I also attached chair bows adorned with roses.  I purchased the Satin at discount as it was a leftover to bolt and purchased the pearl napkin rings for $1.00 each at Garden Ridge.  I picked up the photo frames that I used for place cards on clearance at Hobby Lobby for $.50 each!
