We are sharing our Heart Healthy Weekly Menu Plan with you. It’s Heart Healthy Week here at Stockpiling Moms in honor of February being Heart Health Month! Melissa is a Heart Warrior and we love that she eats healthy each and everyday to keep her heart working to it’s best!
Enjoy our menu planning ideas. We menu plan because it keeps us from worrying about what is “for dinner”. It also keeps our budget in line when it comes to dining out. When you menu plan it is important to include a family favorite weekly (and a leftovers or dining out night if desired).
We try to make frugal menu plans to keep within our monthly budgets. A helpful tip is to plan meals from your stockpile! Here is a how to get started Menu Planning Monthly.
Heart Healthy Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday – Meatloaf in a Muffin Tin, Roasted Broccoli and Sauteed Black Beans
Tuesday – Eggplant and Tomato Stir Fry with fresh fruit
Wednesday – Grilled Chile-Lime Chicken, Roasted Radishes, Homemade Sweet Potato Fries for dessert Cinnamon Apple Chips
Thursday – Low Fat Chicken Tortilla Soup and Salad in a Jar for dessert Low Fat Puppy Chow Snack Mix
Friday – Country Bob’s Baked Pork Chops, Roasted Cabbage Steaks and for dessert 3 Ingredient Ice Cream
Saturday – Crockpot Honey Rosemary Chicken, Roasted Cauliflower and Gingered Fruit Salad
Sunday –Herb & Lemon Butter Tilapia, Crockpot Baked Potatoes and for dessert Low Fat Dark Chocolate Cookies
