*You can choose to only do one size but I ended up doing a varietyplus you will want a few extra candy canes to break into small pieces to sprinkle on your chocolate.
20-25large marshmallows
12ozWilton chocolate candy melts
small sandwich baggie
small hammer or rolling pin
Foil lined baking sheet
Instructions
Place one marshmallow on each candy cane and set aside (see photo).
Pour the Wilton candy melts into a microwave safe dish. Heat them in 30 second increments, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Let cool 3-4 minutes before dipping your marshmallows.
While the chocolate is cooling put about 5 small candy canes into the sandwich baggie. Use the rolling pin (or small hammer) to break them into small pieces. Pour the sprinkles out into a small bowl and set aside.
Dip each marshmallow one at a time halfway in the chocolate and then sprinkle with the Peppermint pieces (see photo). Lay it on the baking sheet to set.
Repeat with all the marshmallows and candy canes.
To speed up the drying process place the baking sheet in the fridge for about 15 minutes.
Give as gifts in a mug this holiday season or keep to impress holiday guests.
