Steak Tacos is one of our favorite new recipes. My son is 18 and he asked me to make him some steak tacos. I created this recipe, and it quickly became a family favorite.

1lb.steak, ribeye or tenderloin
1wholetomato
1 packagetortillas, I use corn
1 bunchcilantro
1containersour cream
1packageshredded lettuce
1tsp.onion powder
1tsp.garlic powder
1tsp.Montreal seasoning, McCormick
Instructions
I like to use ribeye, or a tenderloin cut of steak. It is really important when you are cooking steak that you let it rest with salt on it so that it is juicy. Allow it to come to room temperature for one hour! This makes a HUGE difference.
I cut my steak into strips after it was room temp and placed them into a lightly greased skillet. I added onion powder, garlic and McCormick Montreal seasoning. Cook on medium heat until done to your liking.
I heated up my tortillas for a few minutes in a medium heat skillet and then added the steak to them.
Finally, I garnished with lettuce, tomato, sour cream and cilantro. I served with a lettuce salad and refried beans. My family loved these!
