Chess Bars
You can't go wrong with Chess Bars. They are the easiest and most delicious dessert that I have enjoyed in a long time!

1 medium sized bowl
1 9x13x2 inch pan
Ingredients
1
box
yellow cake mix
3
large
eggs
8
oz.
cream cheese, softened
1
stick
salted butter, melted
4
cups
confectioners' sugar (powdered)
1
tsp.
vanilla, optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
In a medium sized bowl combine 1 stick of melted butter, cake mix and egg (and vanilla if using).
Press mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13x2 inch pan. (grease with butter)
In a medium sized bowl, mix 2 eggs, cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Pour over the crust.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until top is golden brown. Center will still be soft.
Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
This is Kire's favorite dessert at Thanksgiving. You can make it with a gluten free cake mix or traditional. It is very rich and delicious.
