Ingredients
1wholebutternut squash1 lb
2wholeapplespeeled, cored and sliced
1/4tspsalt/pepper - optional
1/4cupolive oil or Ghee
1tspground cinnamon
1tspground nutmeg
1/4cuplemon juice
1/4cupunsweetened applesauceno sugar added
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a zip loc bag.
Freeze
When ready to prepare thaw in the refrigerator overnight.
Place into the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours
